Dual Enrollment
The Dual Enrollment Program at Broward College (BC) is an accelerated program that allows eligible public/charter, private, and home school secondary students to take postsecondary coursework and simultaneously earn both high school and college credits, saving both time and money! Dual Enrollment students are exempt from the payment of application fees, tuition, and laboratory fees. College courses are offered at BC campuses and centers, including the Broward College Online campus, and at several high school campuses.
Early Admission
Early Admission, a form of dual enrollment, allows eligible high school senior students to enroll in at least 12 credits per term, Fall and Spring, and maintain a college GPA of 2.0 or greater. Early admission students wishing to matriculate to BC will need to submit their final high school transcript showing their graduation date.
Earn a minimum of 11 credits prior to enrollment
• Earn a minimum 3.0 unweighted grade point average prior to enrollment
• Obtain approval from the high school principal and parent
• Obtain minimum ACT, ACCUPLACER, or SAT placement scores prior to enrollment
• Select courses from the approved list
• Satisfy any required prerequisites
• Attend Broward Community College if course is offered at the community college level
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA in high school coursework and a 2.0 GPA in order to continue in the program.
